How to Become a Church Planter
We are currently seeking church planters to partner with churches and associations in many locations across the United States.
All General Baptist church planters are required to
- Undergo formal assessment (with spouse, if married) before being approved
- Participate in training/planning lab (with spouse, if married)
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with a coach for at least 18 months from the time of hiring
- Commit to raise outside support (amount to be agreed upon by the local association)
In addition, for National Missions to participate,
- The new church must be affiliated with the General Baptist movement.
- The new church must tithe to Unified Giving and the local association from the beginning of the new church.
- All partners in the church-planting work must commit to multiplication. principles (planting future churches through multiplying networks)
